Investing in Modern Infrastructure

There's no arguing that Covid-19 changed the way Americans work.  The precautionary measures taken to prevent the pandemic from taking a greater toll on our citizens forced many businesses to offer work-from-home and hybrid options to their employees.  Two years on, many business have decided to keep some aspects of these alternative work methods as a way of lowering costs.  Low tax burden states like New Hampshire are attractive to those employees whose jobs once required them to live in and around expensive cities, but who now can work remotely.  As more and more people chose New Hampshire as their place of residence, our existing infrastructure of roads, schools, hospitals, public services and high-speed internet will be strained to accommodate the added usage.  I will support increased investment in our state's infrastructure to help NH compete in the 21st century.
